About This Site
What Is This?
Trash Lowlife Scum is a DIY, community-built database of folk punk, and folk punk adjacent shows. It's a place for us to keep track of shows, bands, and venues without dealing with corporate ticketing sites, ads, or algorithms. No show is too small, no band is too unknown. We don't care if your band is playing at a well known concert venue, or under a bridge; add your show so that the rest of us can come see you play.
The information here is only as good as what we all contribute. If you see a show that's missing, add it. If you see a detail that's wrong, fix it. This is a community built resource. Its success and its accuracy depends on all of us.
The Mission
To build a simple, no-nonsese tool for the folk punk community. We're focused on providing an easy to use, straightforward way to see what's happening. No frills, no tracking, just the info.
Get Involved
The best way to get involved is to use the site. Add shows, update details, and keep the information accurate. If you find something that isn't working, see an area that could be improved on, or have an idea for a new feature; contact me.
Who am I?
My name is Jeff. I think the Bandsintown app sucks and I hate using it. I think this world is a miserable place and punk shows are one of the only times I feel free and happy. I also believe in supporting and contributing to your community by any means necessary. That's why I built this place. If you want to know more, check out my profile page.
Ten bonus points to any B-horror movie fans who know where I took the name of the site from.
